"¿Cómo funciona?
Ha de montar la cámara del timbre en el bastidor y conectar los cables. Cuando el visitante toque al timbre, la imagen aparacerá en el monitor de casa, así verá inmediatamente quién ha tocado y podrá decidir si desea abrir la puerta (o si lo prefiere “no estar en casa de momento”). Para comunicarse con la visita, simplemente debe pulsar un botón. Los abridores de puertas eléctricos funcionan gracias al monitor. "

- Up till a cable-length of 25 meters, you can use a 4 core cable of minimum 4x 0.55mm2.
- For cable-lengths of 25~50 meters, you need to use a coax cable, 75 ohms of 0.5mm2 (R1 and R2) for the video signal.
- For cable-lengths of 50~100 meters, use a 75 ohms coax cable of minimum 1.0mm2.
- For cable-lengths of 100~300 meters, use a 75 ohms coax cable of minimum 1.5mm2.
There is no coax cable required for the audio signal, and a 2 core cable is sufficient.

- Connect the door opener to the 2-core cable supplied. The cable connector connects to the 2-core connector on the camera.

The door opener has 2 terminals, on which a voltage must be present of 8 to 12 volt to activate the door opener.
This can be direct current or alternating current.
When using direct current you will hear a light click when the door opener is activated.
When using alternating current you will hear the door opener buzz during activation.
It does not matter how the + and – of the direct current is connected.
See manual M229: M229 base station installation, step 2. and choose 1. Electric door lock with its own power supply.
See manual DP120: 5.2 Connecting an electric door opener (optional).
Extra necessities:
Universal power adaptor from 8 to 12 Volt direct or alternating current.
Extra connecting cable.
Make sure the power adaptor and DG are not connected to the mains.
At the back of the DG you will find 2 terminals with L+ and L-.
(With the DG400 even a connecting cable for the door opener is enclosed.)
These are the contacts which are closed when the door opener is activated on the DG.
The power adaptor has 2 connecting wires. Connect 1 wire to the L+ of the DG.
Connect an extra wire from L- to 1 of the terminals of the door opener.
Connect the 2nd connecting wire of the power adaptor to the other terminal of the door opener.
Plug in the power adaptor and the DG and test the door opener.
