Sender for controlling appliances and lights, that are plugged into the Marmitek X-10 modules, through the existing house wiring. Automatically switches all lights (on or flashing) in case of alarm, without running any extra wires. Switch appliances and lights from every location in your home without extra cables. You can use almost every signal as a "trigger" for the SM10: contact closure (relays, switch of alarm keypad), but also any voltage between 6 and 18 (e.g. doorbell transformer or amplified audio signal)

FAQs
Yes, you can use more than one Transceiver in your home when the range of your remotes is not sufficient. The Transceiver is using so called collision detection to prevent signals to be disturbed when more than one Transceiver is transmitting. Transceivers will wait for a quite power line before transmitting their data. To prevent your Marmitek X-10 System to become slow or to prevent dimming from becoming less smooth, make sure that the units are placed as far away from each other as possible.
The appliance connected to the SM10 keeps the contact closed or constantly gives off power.
- You are using a setting that sends the command ‘All Lights On’. Only lamp modules can respond to this command. Choose another setting for your SM10 (see the SM10 product sheet for more information).
- Is the SM10 connected to the same phase as the other modules?
