- When you press the buttons, the LED on the remote control should start flashing. If the LED only burns for a short time, the remote control needs to be reactivated (see: ‘The KR21 used to work, but does not work anymore.’
- The remote control needs to registered with the system first. See the manual for more information.
The KR21 remote control needs to be reactivated when you change batteries. You can do this as follows:
- Press the ARM button and keep it pressed for at least 5 seconds.
- Now release the ARM button.
When you now quickly press the ARM button, the LED will start to flash instead of just burn. The remote control is activated again. Do not forget to register the remote control with the system.

The range of the remote depends on the local situation, e.g. the number of walls and floors and their construction. The range is usually somewhere between 10 and 20m.
