Universal remote control for 8 A/V appliances: TV, video, DVD, cable, satellite, audio, X10 and digital satellite. The EasyTouch 35 has a handy touch screen with light blue screen lighting. Only the functions for the device selected are shown on screen. The remote control always works, because of the pre-programmed codes. You can also control appliances you will buy in the future by using the learn function on the remote control. In combination with the Home Control TM13, you can control appliances and lights even through walls and floors. By programming a series of keys, the Home Theatre macro function allows you to activate all your favourite home theatre functions with one press of a button. Use the macro button to turn on the TV and tune to the A/V channel, turn on the DVD player, switch on the surround sound system, close the curtains, dim the lights etc.

Yes, you can use more than one Transceiver in your home when the range of your remotes is not sufficient. The Transceiver is using so called collision detection to prevent signals to be disturbed when more than one Transceiver is transmitting. Transceivers will wait for a quite power line before transmitting their data. To prevent your Marmitek X-10 System to become slow or to prevent dimming from becoming less smooth, make sure that the units are placed as far away from each other as possible.
The Sky Digiboxes all use the same code, irrespective of the brand/type. The pre-set code is 584 or 0584.
Yes, the EasyControl 8 / EasyTouch 35 can also be used for HomeAutomation and is fitted with a high-frequency transmitter.
No, the remote control remembers the codes. However, you can make a note of the codes just to be sure.
The remote control works with pre-programmed codes. It is not possible to update this list. You can transmit and store the codes from your original remote control using the learning function.
Pressing in the keys of the original remote control for shorter periods of time during the learning process increases the amount of free memory in the Marmitek remote control.
The EasyControl / EasyTouch uses a special trick for learning commands so that it keeps as much memory as possible free. It remembers the structure of the first type of each command it learns and applies it to all subsequent commands in the same mode so that each new command only takes up a small part of the available memory. If your EasyControl / EasyTouch learns, for example, the codes for a TV in the TV modus and then learns the volume control for your amplifier (in the TV mode), it will write over the structure of the TV commands and the respective key functions will no longer work. It is therefore best to program your amplifier's volume control in a different (unused) mode. N.B. It is, however, possible to program your amplifier's volume control after entering the pre-programmed (3-digit) code for your TV. In this case, the above does not apply.
The codes for the FLAT TV LINK 4 can be found under code CBL 422 in Marmitek universal remote controls. The ON/OFF function is programmed under button 0 of your remote control.
Yes. Set the CBL button on your remote control to code 422 (see the user manual). The following buttons work with your FLAT TV LINK 4:
Button 0 = ON/OFF
Button 1 = select device 1
Button 2 = select device 2
Button 3 = select device 3
Button 4 = select device 4
Several buttons are not suitable for learning commands:
The pre-programmed code list cannot be extended. It is however possible to learn commands, using the original remote control for your equipment.
When programming, you should pay close attention to the following:
a) end the session by pressing [SETUP]
b) delete the memory of the respective mode
c) check whether the LEDs are properly aligned
d) change the distance between the LEDs
e) try again
Last but not least: the LED that the EasyTouch uses for learning commands is not the one on the top, but the one underneath.
Check our code table page for more information.
40 commands per mode;
320 commands in total.

The EasyControl 8 / EasyTouch35 uses infrared and high-frequency (radio) signals.
The remote control only works with alkaline batteries. The remote control will become unreliable if you use rechargeable or zinc batteries.
In principle, the EasyControl / EasyTouch can learn all commands except for the ones for Bang&Olufsen equipment.
Yes, to do this you will need the ControlAnywhere as a receiver and place it in front of your equipment. The infrared signal from your EasyControl 8 / EasyTouch 35 passes through floors and walls and is picked up by the ControlAnywhere.
Yes, to do this, you will need the TM13 HomeControl as a transceiver to convert the high-frequency signal from the EasyControl 8 / EasyTouch 35 into an X-10 mains signal.

When you use a remote or sensor, you should have at least one Transceiver or Marmitek X-10 Security Console installed in your house. These components will translate the radio signals to the Marmitek X-10 signal on the power line. Using several remotes and sensors, you only need one central transceiver.
