Yes, you can use more than one Transceiver in your home when the range of your remotes is not sufficient. The Transceiver is using so called collision detection to prevent signals to be disturbed when more than one Transceiver is transmitting. Transceivers will wait for a quite power line before transmitting their data. To prevent your Marmitek X-10 System to become slow or to prevent dimming from becoming less smooth, make sure that the units are placed as far away from each other as possible.
The Sky Digiboxes all use the same code, irrespective of the brand/type. The pre-set code is 584 or 0584.
Yes, the EasyControl 8 / EasyTouch 35 can also be used for HomeAutomation and is fitted with a high-frequency transmitter.
No, the remote control remembers the codes. However, you can make a note of the codes just to be sure.
The remote control works with pre-programmed codes. It is not possible to update this list. You can transmit and store the codes from your original remote control using the learning function.
Pressing in the keys of the original remote control for shorter periods of time during the learning process increases the amount of free memory in the Marmitek remote control.
The EasyControl / EasyTouch uses a special trick for learning commands so that it keeps as much memory as possible free. It remembers the structure of the first type of each command it learns and applies it to all subsequent commands in the same mode so that each new command only takes up a small part of the available memory. If your EasyControl / EasyTouch learns, for example, the codes for a TV in the TV modus and then learns the volume control for your amplifier (in the TV mode), it will write over the structure of the TV commands and the respective key functions will no longer work. It is therefore best to program your amplifier's volume control in a different (unused) mode. N.B. It is, however, possible to program your amplifier's volume control after entering the pre-programmed (3-digit) code for your TV. In this case, the above does not apply.

When you use a remote or sensor, you should have at least one Transceiver or Marmitek X-10 Security Console installed in your house. These components will translate the radio signals to the Marmitek X-10 signal on the power line. Using several remotes and sensors, you only need one central transceiver.
