Two-way TTL/CMOS interface for connecting the Marmitek X-10 system with your own applications or with appliances which have a X-10 interface entry (alarm systems, thermostats, touch screen controllers, etc.). Translates TTL/CMOS signals to Marmitek X-10 signals on the existing house wiring and vice versa. Calvinistic divided entry and exit with regard to the existing wiring.

Yes, you can use more than one Transceiver in your home when the range of your remotes is not sufficient. The Transceiver is using so called collision detection to prevent signals to be disturbed when more than one Transceiver is transmitting. Transceivers will wait for a quite power line before transmitting their data. To prevent your Marmitek X-10 System to become slow or to prevent dimming from becoming less smooth, make sure that the units are placed as far away from each other as possible.
No, you need to use the CM11 or CM15Pro
Please contact the person that installed your alarm system. The cables used differ per system.

The input/output port of the CM11 is based on RS232 communication. The XM10 contains a logics port for TTL or CMOS connections. This means the timing and protocol settings for the XM10 are completely determined by your own electronics or control unit. The XM10 is meant for connections controlled by Marmitek X-10. There are several products available, such as surveillance systems (e.g. Caddx, Ademco, Lobeco, Aritech and Visonic) and thermostats (e.g. RCS, Enerzone), that have an RJ11 connection and that can be directly attached to the Marmitek XM10 module. Please carefully check that all appliances that are to be connected, are suitable for use with the 50Hz frequency.

Yes. You do, however, always need an XM10E or XM10G. This connects your alarm system (e.g. Caddx, Ademco, Lobeco, Aritech and Visonic) to the mains. The communication to the different Home Automation modules takes place via the mains.
