• Is the IR LED (eye) of the IR extension cable applied correctly and in the right place on the IR window of your equipment? Often transferring the transmitter or receiver offers a solution. Even 30 cm to the left or to the right can make a large difference. Experiment with the position for the best operation.
• Are the batteries correctly placed in the IR receiver? When placing the batteries pay attention to the polarity (+/-). This is indicated on the inside of the IR receiver.

The Invisible Scart 300™ has to be connected to the TV-out or Video-out of your PC. Mostly, the connection is on the graphic board. The signal you have to offer is the so called composite ‘video signal’. This is also referred to as CVBS or PAL-G. The connection to your graphic board can look as follows:

• Yellow tulip-connection (RCA). If your PC has connection, you can directly connect the supplied cable from the Invisible Scart 300™ to the yellow tulip-connection of your Invisible Scart 300-transmitter.
• DIN-plug (S-VHS-connection). This is a round connection resembling the-connection of your mouse (a round connection with a number of holes). If you have this connection you cannot connect the Invisible Scart 300™directly to your PC; you need an adapter cable. This adapter cable converts your SVHS-signal to a composite video signal. Such an adapter cable is almost always supplied if you buy a graphic board (or PC) with a TV-outlet. Such a cable can also be supplied through your Marmitek dealer (order number 09388). For some types of PC’s the standard cable does not fit. In that case it is best to contact the supplier of the graphic board. For use of the TV-out a number of set-ups in the graphic board need to be adjusted. Naturally, these differ for each PC and operating system, but in general the correct mode has to be selected. In this case "composite", "CVBS" or "PAL-G". You can probably find the correct way in the manual of the PC or graphic board.

You can use the decoder as a TV tuner. By using the remote control of the decoder with the receiver, you can change the channels on the decoder. 

Both systems work on the same frequency band (2, 4 GHz). It is therefore possible that interference will occur. However, the Invisible Scart™ has several channels within the frequency band. This will probably also is the case with your WLAN. Pay attention in the case of so-called frequency hopping. In that case, different channels are selected all the time, which might cause interference after all
