How does the MegaView70™ work?
It's really simple! Connect the A/V device you want to use (e.g. a DVD player) to the MegaView70, which creates an additional TV channel and places it on the existing antenna network in your home. Furthermore, you can continue to operate the A/V device that is set up in a different room with your own remote control.

It is not necessary that an antenna signal is present at the input.
As opposed to most other products on the market, it transmits a STEREO audio signal.
Yes, this can be done in 2 ways.
- If you want to have multiple audio/video sources at your disposal at the same time on the network you can use multiple MegaView sets next to each other. Each MegaView can put the signal on the cable network on another frequency. You can choose this frequency yourself. However there has to be enough space between the already present channels (preferably at least 3 free channels).
- If you want to have multiple sources at your disposal on the network, but not need to watch them at the same time, you could connect these sources via the Marmitek Connect 236. To this you can connect up to 4 sources and you can choose which one you want to watch.
It is not necessary that an antenna signal is present at the input.
- If you also want to use an infrared return function, all antenna boxes, amplifiers and splitters IN the cables between your bedroom and living room need to be suitable for a ‘return channel’ (5-30 MHz).
- If you only want to transmit images and sound , these components do not need to be suitable for a return channel.
TeleText is part of the video signal, which means it is also transmitted.
As opposed to most other products on the market, it transmits a STEREO audio signal.
- Check that the IR LED is in the correct position on the sensor.
- Check that the metal part of the infrared receiver is correctly connected.
- Check that the aerial wall outlets, aerial amplifiers and splitters that are fitted IN the cabling between your bedroom and living room are ‘return channel’ compatible (5 - 30 MHz).
If none of the options above offers the solution, your remote control probably uses a different infrared frequency. Instead of the standard 38 kHz receiver you can also order a 56 kHz receiver (art. no. 09813).
