Yes, the HomeGuard has an extra connection for e.g. a smoke detector. It is best to use a NC (Normally Closed) contact. In that case you can make a serial connection with multiple sensors.
Every SD90 is registered at the same address. There is no maximum amount of smoke detectors.
No, only the first SD90 you register will take up the place of a KR21. The other SD90s are registered at the same address.
This can happen when the keyboard of the HomeGuard has been used during the 10 seconds before activation. After installing the HomeGuard it is best to wait for 10 seconds. When activating the HomeGuard a second time, this problem will not occur again.
The motion detector is sensitive to heat. The answer therefore depends on the operating conditions. Under normal conditions the PIR has a range of approx. 6 meters at an angle of 180 degrees and approx. 12 meters perpendicular to the sensor.

- When you press the buttons, the LED on the remote control should start flashing. If the LED only burns for a short time, the remote control needs to be reactivated (see: ‘The KR21 used to work, but does not work anymore.’

The KR21 remote control needs to be reactivated when you change batteries. You can do this as follows:
- Press the ARM button and keep it pressed for at least 5 seconds.
- Now release the ARM button.
When you now quickly press the ARM button, the LED will start to flash instead of just burn. The remote control is activated again. Do not forget to register the remote control with the system.
- When you press the buttons, the LED on the remote control should start flashing. If the LED only burns for a short time, the remote control needs to be reactivated (see: ‘The KR21 used to work, but does not work anymore.’
